- Reef Days at Ikigai School
At Ikigai School, every week, our Early 3 through 4th-grade students participate in Reef Days at Playa Blanca. This program, called Reef Club, is a unique opportunity for children to engage in learning activities outside the classroom while also being physically active in a beautiful natural setting.
- What happens on Reef Days?
Each class spends approximately two hours at Playa Blanca. The time is divided between academic learning and movement-based activities.
Students enjoy a snack break during their time at the beach.
The goal of Reef Days is to foster a deeper connection with nature, promote active lifestyles, and integrate fun, hands-on learning experiences that enhance our regular curriculum. It’s a special time where students explore the natural world while reinforcing their academic skills.
